Winners celebrate at the first annual NEE Real Estate Awards
EuropaProperty has successfully completed its first annual NEE Real Estate Awards at the Intercontinental Crowne Plaza Hotel in Minsk, Belarus. Dana Holdings shone the brightest on the evening picking up three awards. The developer received awards for Developer of the Year, Overall Company of the Year and also Concept & Design Project of the Year for their Dana Mall in Minsk.
Investor of the Year was awarded to EBRD, which was recognised by the jurors for its investment success and commitment to the NEE region. Global consultants Colliers International picked up the Professional Service Provider of the Year.
Company of the Year awards were presented to the leading developer, investor and professional service providers in Northern and Eastern Europe for their activities and accomplishments during 2014. Companies were judged on their overall market contribution, quality of customer services, market innovation, commercial success, leadership and market penetration.
Svitland Development’s Clever Park won two prominent project prizes, Office Development of the Year and Overall Project of the Year. Zamok Shopping Center by Tabak-Investment walked away with the Retail Development of the Year prize.
Project of the Year award winners were rated according to quality of design, building efficiency, quality of location, environmental concerns and commercial success.
Accentuating the interest in the NEE region’s retail sector, five key retailers were awarded on the night. Overall Retailer of the Year and Hypermarket/Big Box Retailer went to Euroopt and the Newcomer of the Year award was received by LC Waikiki. Other major winners for the retailer specific awards included: Intersport, Tommy Hilfiger and Benetton.
Retailer of the Year awards were given to retailers active throughout the region based on their market innovation, expansion, contribution to the market, market share, concept and design, and commercial success.
The Overall Professional of the Year went to Wakim Younis CEO of Palazzo Mall and its developer RRY Capital.
