Yossef Fridman is CEO of Svitland Development Ltd in Belarus and Lithuania. He was named among TOP-50 most influential expats in Belarus by Business Review Journal. With total experience of 11 years in investment and real estate development in Europe and Israel he is also a well-known expert in real estate market in Belarus.
Yossef joined Svitland as CEO in September 2011 and handled development of several residential and office complexes. He has broad leadership responsibilities across a range of areas including the company’s strategic planning and asset acquisition as well as government affairs. During his tenure, he guided the company to profitable revenue growth and new projects. In 2013 under his leadership the company completed building of the first energy-efficient office complex in Belarus and received EBRD grant for the best energy management practice.
Prior to Svitland, Yossef served as General Manager for R.Evolution Canadel Ltd., an international real estate company that provides development services for global financial institutions. In this role he identified and led the acquisition process and negotiated all strategic partnerships and alliances. Other experience includes serving as the Head of Development and Investment Department at ARBUMA Lt, where he oversaw all phases of the property development. He was also co-owner of several ARBUMA owned projects and a member of its investment committee.
A graduate of the Open University of Israel, Yossef earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Business Management. He later earned an executive MBA degree from Stockholm School of Economics
