A native of Minnesota, Paul Kusmierz has been resident in Poland and active on the Polish and CEE real estate markets since 1996. Paul was the Acquisition Director and Equity Partner in a retail fund based in Poland with Europa Capital. During his time there he managed one of the largest transactions of 2007, acquiring 14 properties and later selling them to Balmain Asset Management.
In 2006, he founded Master Management Group (MMG), which in this tremendous pace has become one of the leaders of Poland’s developer and real estate management market, gaining the trust of international business partners. As mandated by the Blackstone Real Estate Group, Master Management Group was responsible for transaction advisory, property management and leasing for King’s Street Retail, the collection of high-quality Polish shopping malls, owned by Blackstone. The company is also in cooperation with Czech, finance & investment fund CPI Group.
Master Management Group, under the leadership of Paul Kusmierz, has been investing in commercial real estate and executing its own projects. Currently the company operates over 80,000 sqm of GLA in Poland including: Galeria Orkana in Lublin, Galeria Niwa in Oświęcim, Galeria Sandomierz and Galeria Brama Mazur in Ełk, which opened in August 2014. Additionally, MMG is responsible for the management of CPI's Polish office portfolio, including Central Tower (former Orco Tower), Diana Residence and Prosta 69. The newest project in the MMG portfolio is Galeria Młociny, 70,000 sqm GLA of new, modern retail space, located in the Bielany district, near the most significant transportation hub in Northwestern Warsaw.
In his free time, Paul helps support American football in Poland through the Warsaw Eagles, a club he founded himself.
